The School of Real Estate enjoys considerable reputation with the real estate industry in Tanzania, in particular the Ministry of Lands Housing and Urban Development, local professional societies and international bodies such as the International Federation of Surveyors(FIG), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors(RICS), International Real Estate Society(IRES), African Real Estate Society(AfRES), International Valuation Standards Committee (IVSC) and a number of World Bank and Overseas Development Assistance Organisations. This has greatly influenced the research areas that the School Staff are carrying out. Research works that members of staff have executed have been widely recognized and adopted both at national and international levels.
