Goal and purpose
To ensure engagement/active participation and accountability of ARU students in creating an enabling environment for gender mainstreaming for a conducive organizational culture.
Objectives
- To carry out gender awareness campaigns among ARU students.
- Participate in 1st year orientation programmes.
- Carry out publicity activities for adopted gender affirmative action at ARU.
- Organize discussions on key policy issues adopted/passed by ARU.
- Support ARU expanded access for female students through outreach programmes.
- To enrich the debate on gender equality and equity through gender mainstreaming at ARU.
