Emmanuel Elifadhili Mchome (PhD), is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Spatial Planning and Social Sciences. He was employed at Ardhi University, by then UCLAS in 2001. He has a PhD in Transportation Engineering, M.Sc. in Urban Planning and Management with specialization in Urban Design and Environmental Planning and Management, and B.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning. He has twenty (20) years working experience in teaching, research and consultancy in preparation of General Planning Schemes (Master Plans, Land Use Plans and Special Economic Zone Plans), Detailed Planning Schemes (Urban Design, Layout Plans, Neighborhood Plans/Schemes and Regularization Plans/Schemes), Environmental Planning (Resettlement Action Plans, Livelihood Restoration Plans and Livelihood Impact Assessments) and Transportation Studies.
