Dr. Wilfred Gordian Kazaura is a lecturer in the department of Urban and Regional Planning, School of Spatial Planning and Social Science. Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning in 2005, Masters of Science in Urban Planning and Management in 2007 at Ardhi University. He pursued and completed PhD studies in Transportation Engineering at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2017. He has worked as GIS expert in Municipalities, government and private institutions in and out of Tanzania; Dr Kazaura has served as an Urban and Regional Planner in preparing master plans, development plans, strategic plans in and out of Tanzania. He has also served in the capacity of transportation planning expert in the preparation of urban transportation master plans, review of transportation guidelines and preparation of frameworks for traffic impact analysis in many urban centres. His areas of research interest include; urban and rural transportation, urban and regional planning, settlement planning, environmental planning and management and technology application in urban transportation, land use planning and management. Dr Kazaura is a Fully Registered Town Planner with the Town Planners Registration Board.
