Dr. Yasin Senkondo pursued BSc. Agriculture and MSc. Soil Science and Land Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture. He then pursued MSc. Physical Land Resources (Management) and PhD in Applied Biological Sciences at Gent University. He worked in Flower Growing Companies as Fertigation, Pests and Diseases Control officer, Assistant Production Manager and later Production Manager. He later joined Ardhi University in 2008 as Assistant Lecturer and was promoted to a position of Lecturer in 2014 and Senior Lecturer in 2018. He carried research in Copper and Fluoride Toxicity in Soils and has published articles and attended International Scientific Conferences and short courses on Innovation and Intellectual property. He teaches Soil Management and Conservation and Land Use Planning. His research interests are; Land Use Planning, Heavy Metals pollution and Climate Change.
