Emmanuel Fares Kemwita was employed as a Tutorial Assistant in the School of Spatial Planning and Social Science at Ardhi University (ARU) in 2011. He is currently an Assistant Lecturer since 2016. He holds B.Arch. at UDSM-UCLAS and an MSc in Housing at ARU. He wrote his dissertations for Bachelor and Master degrees on “Adaptable Housing Designs”. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Built Environment Analysis at ARU majoring on “Building Construction in Flood-prone Informal Settlements”. He has experience in teaching, research and consultancy in building designs, construction, materials, housing, landscaping and computer aided designs. He has interest on; building designs, construction, materials, adaptation, resilience, land governance, and other planning and architectural issues. Kemwita is a registered Architect in the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB) and licenced to practice architecture in Tanzania.
