Theresia Francis, is an assistant lecturer at the department of economics and social studies at Ardhi University, since 2010. She has a B.A Rural Development from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and M.A Demography from the University of Dar es Salaam. Currently, she is pursuing PhD (Demography) at the University of Dar es Salaam. She has experience in teaching and research in community health (population & demography) and gender issues. She has an interest in maternal health & health financing, child nutrition, GBV, and other gender issues. She wrote her Master’s degree on maternal health issues among women of childbearing age. Theresia is a member of Tanzania Population Scientists (TAPS). She has a number of research and publications.
