A delegation from Monduli Military Academy (Tanzania Military Academy) led by Principal Instructor from the Academy, Colonel Petro Kapinga, on August 10, 2026, made a special visit to Ardhi University (ARU) with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation.
Addressing the meeting, Colonel Kapinga said the visit aimed to gain a deeper understanding of various programs offered by ARU, as well as knowing the duties and responsibilities of the Geospatial Science and Technology graduates, a program which is offered by Ardhi University.
Furthermore, issues of academic and strategic cooperation were discussed, especially the one regarding the establishment of a new program called “Bachelor of Science in Military and Geographic Information System” which is expected to be launched at Monduli Military Academy.
On his side, Ardhi University Vice Chancellor Prof. Evaristo Liwa, commended the Monduli Military Training Academy management for deciding to establish these strategic courses that are important for the development of the country and national defense in general.
The discussions concluded with Ardhi University being awarded a plaque for being a key stakeholder of the Monduli Military Training Academy.
The session was also attended by Ardhi University professional experts in Geographical Sciences and Technologies from the GST department.
