Dr.Mkumbo is an Environmental Engineer with a strong academic and professional experience in the field Environmental Engineering. He is a lecturer in the department of Environmental Engineering teaching Building Services Engineering, Soil pollution and remediation and hazardous waste management courses. He has done several researches on soil pollution and remediation, several consultancies including EIA, design of wastewater treatment, wastewater pumping stations and preparation of infrastructure plans for Cities and towns. Mkumbo’s research interest is on Heavy metal pollution and remediation, wastewater treatment, Solid waste management and public health
