ARDHI | Main Activities

The main activities of the directorate are:

1. Continuing Education

The following are the functions of the Department of Continuing Education (DCC)

To coordinate continuing education activities at the University;
To organize short course trainings within and outside the University for income generation;
To monitor the efficient performance of continuing education activities within the University;
To promote cooperation with other departments within and outside the department

2. Public Services and Outreach Activities

The following are the functions of the Public Services and Outreach Activities

To provide a framework for the development and management of the public services and outreach activities, and engagements;
To coordinate public services and outreach activities within and outside the University in compliance with the University Policy on Public Services and Outreach Activities;
To undertake monitoring and evaluation of the public services and outreach activities in the University;
To liaise with other Industries and Institutions, both locally and internationally, on public services and outreach activities;
To facilitate public services and outreach activities from innovative research projects undertaken by Ardhi University;
To link the University with the industry and community for providing public services and outreach activities;
To promote and guide collaboration(s) in the provision of the public services and outreach activities;
To promote staff involvement in the provision of public services and outreach activities;
To solicit internal and external funds for community outreach services;
To guide staff about the appropriate usage of university resources in providing the community outreach services; and
To document public services and outreach activities for publicity of the University
