Doreen Fred is an Assistant Lecturer at Ardhi University in the School of Architecture, Construction, Economics and Management (SACEM). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2018 from Ardhi University. She completed her Master’s degree in 2019 from Florence Design Academy- Italy. Ms. Doreen is a registered Interior Designer by the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB) and a member of the Association of Architects of Tanzania (AAT). Before joining Ardhi University, Doreen worked as an Interior designer and project coordinator in an Architectural firm where she took part in the design and construction of several projects. Doreen’s current research interests are adaptive re-use and Sustainable Interior design.
